Quick Update

Couple things today that I wanted to mention this afternoon...

• It is official that Boston College has fired head coach Jeff Jagodzinski.  The announcement came just a few minutes ago.  In this morning Hump Day Headlines I mentioned it was expected, now it has happened.  Athletic Director Gene DiFilippo made the announcement today after meeting with the coach this morning.  He says he plans to hire a new coach that will stay with Boston College through the length of his contract.  ESPN's Wendi Nix reports the school will hire defensive coordinator Frank Spaziani on an interim basis.
• Also, some must-see TV tonight, as ESPN is switching its broadcast teams for tonight's match ups between #2 Davidson @ Duke, and the Miami @ Denver NBA game.  The NBA team of Mike Tirico, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson will be at Cameron Indoor Stadium for the college game, and Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale will head up the coverage of the NBA game.  Imagine Dwyane Wade being called a "P-T-P-er" in tonight's game.  I'll definitely tune in for that.
